Using this approach, I started a small experiment of my own, combining my watercolors with augmented reality (AR) elements to create an interactive piece where a static landscape painting comes to life when you shine your smartphone at it, showing the changing seasons.

At first, there were a lot of technical challenges, and I wondered, "Is this really fine art?" But the reaction of the audience convinced me: kids were fascinated and stayed in front of the painting for a long time, and adults said, "I've never seen anything like this before.
