The old songs your grandmother used to sing, the traditional crafts your father used to make... Have you ever noticed that they seem to be disappearing one by one around us? There are so many things that we put off as "something I'll learn later" in our busy lives, only to lose them forever when the people with the skills pass away.

I recently worked on a really meaningful project in a local area, documenting and passing on traditional woodworking techniques that my 90-year-old grandfather had practiced all his life, along with younger artists. Through this six-month process, we were able to preserve not just the skills, but the philosophy and spirit behind them.
