Xbox Console Prices to Increase in the USA

Microsoft has announced a price increase for its Xbox Series consoles in the USA, with the Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition now priced over $800 USD.

The company stated, "Starting October 3, we will update the recommended retail pricing for Series S and Series X consoles in the United States due to changes in the macroeconomic environment."

Microsoft acknowledged the challenges posed by these changes, emphasizing that the decision was made with careful consideration. The company remains focused on providing more gaming options across various screens and delivering value to Xbox players.

From October 3, US consumers will see the following prices for each Xbox Series console.

Microsoft confirmed that prices will not increase in other regions. "Pricing outside the U.S. remains unchanged. Local pricing may vary by country to reflect exchange rates and other market conditions," the company added.
