xAI Publishes Hundreds of Thousands of Grok Chat Conversations
Elon Musk's AI firm, xAI, has published chat transcripts of hundreds of thousands of conversations between its chatbot Grok and users, often without their consent. When a Grok user clicks the 'share' button, a unique URL is created, allowing the conversation to be shared via email or text. However, this URL is also indexed by search engines, making it searchable online. Currently, a Google search reveals over 370,000 indexed conversations. These pages include a range of interactions from simple business tasks to sensitive personal information. xAI did not respond to requests for comment.
