Tech Executives Attend Trump’s White House Dinner
The White House hosted a dinner for top founders and tech executives, gathering them for an intimate event.
A prominent group of tech executives and AI leaders gathered at the White House on Thursday evening to commend President Trump for his leadership in AI. White House spokesperson Davis Ingle described the dinner as 'the hottest place to be in Washington, or perhaps the world.'
Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg was notably close to Trump, with photos capturing their friendly interaction. This marks a significant change from Trump's previous warnings to Zuckerberg.
Attendees included Meta's Chief AI Officer Alexandr Wang, Social Capital CEO Chamath Palihapitiya, and Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates, among others.
Interestingly, Tesla CEO Elon Musk was invited but chose to send a representative, while Nvidia's Jensen Huang was absent from the event.
