ISDI and Microsoft Introduce GenAI to Spain’s MBA Program
Artificial intelligence (AI) is already reshaping the professional dynamics across various industries. Companies now demand individuals with new AI-related skills, impacting all levels of employment.
Mastering AI tools is anticipated to become the most sought-after technical skill in the coming years, with some industry experts viewing it as essential for success in the job market.
According to Microsoft's latest Labor Trends Report, 50% of business leaders in Spain believe that training their teams in AI will be a crucial responsibility in the next five years. This is vital to address the challenges of automation and the growth of new productive areas.
In a recent announcement, ISDI and Microsoft revealed a collaboration to effectively integrate generative AI (genAI) into high-level training. This alliance has resulted in the creation of a pioneering module within the Executive MBA in Business and Technology (MIB) in Spain, where participants design, train, and apply their own AI agent using Microsoft Copilot.
ISDI Managing Director Basola Vallés emphasized that this collaboration strengthens their commitment to training well-rounded professionals capable of leading business transformation in an AI-marked context.
The module, titled “Create Your AI Agent,” establishes this MIB as the first Executive MBA to structurally integrate business, technology, artificial intelligence, and human skills.
The program is organized into five stages throughout the master's course, starting with activating their agent in Copilot Studio and progressing to applying it in real-life projects, document analysis, strategic simulations, and professional development. The aim is for AI to become an operational extension of their work capabilities beyond the academic sphere.
Paco Salcedo, president of Microsoft Spain, highlighted that Microsoft contributes its technology and experience so that students can turn AI into a real competitive advantage for their organizations.
Beyond technical application, this ISDI program is designed to directly enhance the professional development of leaders and executives.
ISDI’s MIB is recognized by specialized business media as one of the most relevant executive training programs in Spain, with a measurable impact on professional progression: an average salary increase of 38% per year after completing the master's degree and 70% job mobility among its graduates.
Additionally, data from LinkedIn and Microsoft indicate that those who mention AI skills in their profiles are 17% more likely to be considered for new job opportunities.
With this agreement, the pioneering business school in education for the digital age in Spain lays the foundation for broader integration of AI into other ISDI executive programs, with continued support from Microsoft in terms of technology and expertise in implementing intelligent solutions.
The goal is to train leaders who are prepared to operate, innovate, and make decisions in a business landscape increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.
