Guala Evening Classes Highlight Educational Value
Enrollment for the evening course at Guala Institute remains open until the end of August. This course offers an opportunity to obtain a diploma in administration, finance, and marketing. Established in 2017 through a collaboration with the Alba-Mondovì adult education center, it targets adults who wish to complete their high school education, including those who previously discontinued their studies. As part of a public school initiative, the course is free of charge.
The students attending the evening classes in Bra are diverse in age, background, origin, and motivation. Nineteen-year-old Loris Chinnici, who holds a hairdressing qualification, realized the importance of school as a place for personal cultural growth. He decided to resume his studies, describing the journey as one of teamwork and shared goals.
Patrizia Coraglia, a 46-year-old homemaker and farmer, described the evening course as a unique opportunity for a fresh start. She emphasized that it offers everyone the chance to open their minds and hope for new beginnings.
Professor Andrea Sacco, responsible for the evening course, noted that while it is a valuable opportunity, it requires serious commitment. In the first year, 13 out of 30 students did not advance to the next level, and only half of the third-year students will proceed to the subsequent phase.
The evening course at Guala is open to those who have completed middle school or attended some high school years, even if it was a different field or many years ago. Interested individuals should contact the student office via serale@istitutoguala.it.
