Gemini Wine Bar in Coburg Hosts October Events

With the arrival of sunny weather, filling up the calendar with events can help dispel the winter blues. Gemini, an all-day eatery, food pantry, and bottle shop, offers a variety of events in October, from long lunches to cocktail celebrations.

Gemini serves as a meeting point for the curious and sociable, hosting the launch of 'The Madrusan Cocktail Companion' on Tuesday, October 14. Created by Michael and Zara Madrusan, former owners of the acclaimed cocktail bar The Everleigh, attendees can enjoy two signature cocktails made in collaboration with The Gospel Whiskey and Melbourne Gin Company.

October also features two wine tastings. On Saturday, October 11, Kyneton-based POOL Wines presents a free community event with low-intervention wines. Then, on Wednesday, October 22, Giant Steps showcases the latest release from the Yarra Valley producer.

Weekly events this month are set to attract locals. Thursdays feature Neighbourhood Night with $35 steak frites, while Sunday Sessions offer a $35 martini and fried chicken combo. Gemini's Happy Hour from Wednesday to Saturday includes $3 oysters, $10 wines, and $15 cocktails from 5–6pm.
