The Copilot coding agent functions as an asynchronous, autonomous background agent, handling tasks by drafting pull requests, making background changes, and requesting reviews.

With its new ability to search the web, Copilot can gather additional context and enhance its existing knowledge, leveraging the power of the internet for improved functionality.

This feature is available to subscribers of Copilot Pro, Copilot Pro+, Copilot Business, and Copilot Enterprise. For Business or Enterprise subscribers, an administrator must enable the 'Copilot coding agent' and 'Copilot can search the web' policies.
