San Francisco-based skills assessment platform CodeSignal has launched 'Cosmo', a mobile learning application that uses AI-powered micro-courses to enhance career skills. The app offers over 300 bite-sized courses and facilitates learning through an interactive chat interface with an AI tutor.

Tigran Sloyan, co-founder and CEO of CodeSignal, describes Cosmo as an 'AI tutor in your pocket', allowing users to learn through immediate practice. This initiative aims to overcome the limitations of traditional corporate training programs and expand AI literacy.

Cosmo is designed to engage users in realistic workplace scenarios through practice-first learning. The app provides conversational learning tailored to individual knowledge levels and learning pace.

CodeSignal aims to address the skills gap created by rapid AI adoption with Cosmo, aligning with Sloyan's vision of increasing demand for skilled workers who can collaborate effectively with AI systems.

Cosmo is available for free on iOS, with premium subscriptions offering unlimited practice sessions and faster progression. The Android version is set to launch on August 28.
