Cloudflare Enhances Security for ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini

Cloudflare has announced the integration of its Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) with popular generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude by Anthropic, and Google Gemini.

This initiative aims to bolster data security while managing the use of generative AI more safely within the workplace.

The integration comes amid a growing trend of AI usage, with a Microsoft survey indicating that three out of four employees now rely on tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for various tasks, including content creation, data analysis, and code writing.

However, this widespread use also raises concerns about data leakage and regulatory compliance challenges.

Matthew Prince, CEO and co-founder of Cloudflare, emphasized the often-missing link between rapid innovation and safety when adopting technology. "Cloudflare has introduced several safeguards to help businesses adopt AI, and now, we are the only company with direct integration into the three most popular tools to enhance AI security standards across the industry," Prince added.

Through CASB, Cloudflare can automatically scan activities on ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, and Gemini, providing real-time alerts for potential violations. This gives the company's security team greater visibility and control over sensitive data without complex configurations.
