Aravind Srinivas, co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, has been named India's youngest billionaire in the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025. At 31, his net worth is Rs 21,190 crore, largely due to the growth of his AI-powered search platform, Perplexity. The platform has gained global popularity with approximately 22 million active users worldwide as of 2025. Srinivas is featured on the rich list alongside other young entrepreneurs such as Zepto's Kaivalya Vohra (22) and Aadit Palicha (23). India now boasts 358 billionaires, with 1,687 individuals worth over Rs 1,000 crore, nearly half of the country's GDP. Reports indicate that Indian billionaires have added around Rs 1,991 crore in wealth daily over the past two years, creating one new billionaire every week.
