Airtable CEO Encourages Staff to Engage with AI

In a recent podcast, Liu encouraged his staff to experiment with any AI product that could be relevant to Airtable, even if it means canceling meetings for a day or a week. He stated that play and experimentation are crucial.

Liu takes pride in being the top user of Airtable AI, spending significantly on AI-generated insights from sales call transcripts. He believes this investment is minor compared to the strategic value gained.

Liu is among several tech CEOs promoting AI use within their companies. Duolingo's CEO also organizes weekly activities to encourage AI experimentation. Airtable, founded in 2013, was valued at nearly $12 billion as of December 2021.
