Afori Raises €4m to Launch AI for Insurance Brokers

Afori, an innovative AI platform for insurance brokers, has emerged from stealth mode with a €4 million pre-seed funding round.

The funding was led by General Catalyst, with participation from Yellow, Booom, and several industry and AI leaders such as Mustafa Suleyman from Microsoft AI, Alex Rinke from Celonis, and Mehdi Ghissassi, formerly of Google DeepMind, as reported by tech.eu.

Afori's technology integrates directly into brokers' inboxes, converting emails and documents into structured cases and tasks managed by insurance-specific AI agents. Developed in collaboration with brokers, the system reflects their workflows and terminology to enhance efficiency and save time.

The funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand integrations, and support Afori's entry into the German market, with its official launch planned for DKM 2025 in Dortmund.

Afori CEO Fabian Wesemann stated, "By combining Agentic AI with deep industry expertise, we are creating a product that seamlessly integrates into brokers' daily workflows and delivers real, tangible value from the very first day."
