Adobe Premiere App Free for iPhone Users

Adobe announced on Thursday the release of a new Premiere app for iPhone users.

Starting September 30, 2025, iPhone users will be able to download Adobe Premiere directly from the App Store, providing access to professional video editing tools at no cost.

This represents a significant shift in mobile editing, as Adobe positions Premiere as the essential app for social creators seeking professional-level editing on the go.

The app will replace Premiere Rush, which will be removed from the App Store upon launch, although existing users can continue using Rush until September 2026.

The new Premiere app offers desktop-level features on mobile, tailored for creators who edit and publish on platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram.

Unlike many free apps, Adobe confirmed there will be no ads or watermarks, ensuring a clean editing environment for creators.

One of the major highlights is the integration of Adobe Firefly AI, allowing Premiere users to utilize various AI-driven features.

Some of these AI-driven features may require credits or a subscription, but the core editing experience remains fully free.

Adobe designed the app to fit into a multi-device workflow. Projects started on iPhone can be opened in Premiere Pro on desktop, facilitating easy transitions between quick mobile edits and detailed larger projects.

For now, this release is exclusive to iPhone. Adobe has confirmed that an Android version is in development, but no launch timeline has been announced. This means iOS users will have the first experience of mobile Premiere’s editing capabilities.

By launching Premiere for iPhone for free, Adobe is setting a new standard for mobile video editing.
