Google ImageFX is a web-based tool that lets you type short sentences and artificial intelligence automatically creates stunning images for you. using the latest image generation models from Google DeepMind, you can quickly get results that range from photo-realistic to artistic in style, and instead of just typing text, you can easily experiment with different variations by pressing small buttons called expressive chips to change the words in the prompt, giving beginners the freedom to get creative. imageFX also automatically inserts a digital watermark (SynthID) and metadata to verify that the image was created by AI, and automatically blocks violent or inappropriate content for peace of mind. in other words, anyone can create images, but there are safeguards in place to ensure responsible use. more recently, we've even added the ability to selectively edit with a brush to modify, erase, and add new elements, so you can go beyond just creating an image and edit it in detail like you're working on a real design, and the My Library feature lets you save images you've created and bring them back later to remix. it's a creative tool that lets you go from ideation, to image creation, to subsequent editing, all in one place.
