  • Yes, Character Calls is a feature that allows you to interact with characters via voice in a two-way conversation, just like a real phone call. It's currently available on both web and app, and conversations are also saved as text.
  • In addition to English, Character.AI supports many other languages, including Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese. Depending on the language entered by the user, the character can also respond in that language.
  • User-created characters and conversations can be private or public to the community. If made public, they can be reviewed by moderators and are governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • Character.AI does not currently offer a public API, and any API-related suggestions should be directed to info@character.ai.
  • Yes, the Character Voice feature is free for everyone. You are free to create and use voices without any paid subscription.
