Deloitte to Implement AnthropicAI Services Globally

Deloitte is set to provide AnthropicAI's Claude assistant to hundreds of thousands of its employees worldwide.

The global professional services firm Deloitte announced on Monday that over 470,000 of its employees around the world will gain access to Anthropic's AI assistant Claude, marking the largest deployment by the San Francisco-based company to date.

Paul Smith, Anthropic's chief commercial officer, stated to CNBC that significant investment is being made in this partnership, both financially and in terms of engineering resources.

Last month, Anthropic introduced its latest Claude Sonnet 4.5 AI model and announced the completion of a $13 billion funding round, valuing the company at $183 billion.

Deloitte, headquartered in London, plans to deploy unique Claude 'personas' across its work platform in over 150 countries. Additionally, a Claude 'Center of Excellence' will provide staff training and support.

Few additional details about the new enterprise have been disclosed.

Deloitte announced the deal on the same day the Australian government revealed the company would issue a partial refund due to errors made by AI in a report.

A senior Deloitte official stated on Monday that the company's 'significant' investment in Anthropic's AI platform is due to their aligned approaches to 'responsible AI.'

Ranjit Bawa, Deloitte's U.S. chief strategy and technology officer, mentioned, "Our clients obviously want to know: 'Are you using it as well?' So we can advise them better, we can be more credible." He added, "That's why we said we got to start with ourselves as we continue to have our clients reimagine their future."
