IP400 Project Roadmap Unveiled

At the Zero Retries Digital Conference, Garvin (VE6GFC) presented the project plan for the IP400 Project, as communicated by the Alberta Digital Radio Communications Society (ADRCS).

Key upcoming phases include the design of Next Generation Node Hardware II, which features an all-in-one transceiver unit comprising node hardware, a power amplifier, and a 9dB gain antenna.

About the Alberta Digital Radio Communications Society
The Alberta Digital Radio Communications Society (ADRCS) was established in 2022 to promote and develop new technologies using digital communication in Amateur Radio. It sponsors the AREDN network in Western Canada and the IP400 Project.

The IP400 Project aims to deliver a data communications system capable of minimum data speeds of 100 kbps. Initial hardware, demonstrated at Hamvention, includes Raspberry Pi Zero HAT transceivers.
